Beleive it or not, there is hope after the impact of suicide. The catch is... you have to

 Choose Life Over Suicide.

Helping someone who is suicidal is not about preventing death. Although that is one of the goals, the whole idea is instead to give hope to someone who doesn't have any and to teach them how to truly live. Living life dead inside is no life at all, so you can't just save them physically. You have to save them spiritually and emotionally as well.
